We're your local egg supplier! Our Animal Care Attendants care for our hens from one day old to mature adult hens on a daily basis.
Job
Responsibilities:
Assist with daily care of the hens; watching drinkers and feed augers to ensure birds are getting fed and reporting any problems to a supervisor, checking lights, and unclogging egg back-ups when necessary.
Learn and follow proper safe bird handling techniques when working with the hens.
Quickly and humanely remove any mortality.
Assist with moving birds when necessary Sweep walkways and maintain cleanliness of the barns.
Assist with other jobs as required.

We also offer the opportunity for you to pick up extra hours during school breaks and summer vacation.
These jobs are perfect for middle and high school students looking to gain work experience.
There are no late afternoons or overnights necessary since our birds need their sleep! Students must be 14 years of age to work in the barns.
MUST NOT CURRENTLY OWN OR HUNT BIRDS (pet bird, backyard flock, etc.
) .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
