$18 The primary role of Pre-Op Technician is to perform pre operation inspections in a precise manner with understanding of the science involved and meeting all food safety, customer quality, and worker safety requirements.
Pre-Operational Inspections include the visual examination of equipment and production areas as well as scientific ATP Testing to ensure the completeness and correctness of our Sanitation Pre-Requisite Program is being met within Yancey's Fancy and SQF guidelines for sanitary control.
Pre-Operation inspections in production departments which include the understanding and use of technical analytical instruments as well as visual examination of equipment and environment.
Operate equipment and work within our system as trained and specified.
Ensure accuracy of documentation and record keeping (including recording charts).
Compliance with all regulatory agency guidance is mandatory.
Adhere to all current SOPs, procedures, and quality requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area throughout the facility and common areas.
Maintain cooperative working relationships and communications with employees from all other departments.
Obtain and maintain required training, certifications and licenses (HACCP & PCQI Certifications) QUALITY PRACTICES AUDITING Line Checks to include Package Integrity.
Once per Hour to check three cases per line running.
Hourly QC Checks to include Process Charts, Product/Temperature.
Daily/Hourly Line Checks to confirm Metal Detection Calibration.
Line Checks to include Product Quality being packaged.
Startup and every flavor change.
Line Checks to confirm Package Atmosphere Testing.
Pre- Operation inspection of Hoop Wash and other equipment.
Line Checks for Scale Calibration Assist with Label Confirmation.
Able to occasionally help with Lab related duties.
All other assignments set forth by management Daily Quality Report.
Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, grab, push, pull, hold and carry.
Competency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook Job Type:
